We're back...

We got back this afternoon, and the saying "There's no place like home," is SO true. I cannot wait to sleep in my own bed tonight! We did have a good time visiting, but we are glad to be home. Here are some pictures from our trip:
We went to the aquarium at Mandalay Bay with Shaun's Mom, which Aislynn had been to lots when we lived there, so it was cool to take her there again.
The next day we went to the Dolphin Habitat and Secret Garden at the Mirage, and she totally loved this! They had underwater viewing spots and the pools outside were really cool because you could get really close and really see the animals. Aren't they cute?In the Secret Garden, they had leopards, white tigers and orange ones, and white lions. They had some 4 month old white tiger cubs that were SOOOOO adorable, but all my pictures of them came out really blurry:(
At the Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace they have an F.A.O. Schwartz with the giant piano and Miss A did not want to leave that AT ALL! She loved that thing! A dinosaur puzzle and some gelato were the bribe to get her away from "playing music." The next day we just strolled around the Venetian Shops. We we going to take a gondola ride, but after standing in line and getting to the front and the guy telling us we have to buy tickets and then pointing out the really long ticket line, we decided not to. It was hard to get pictures in the shops because of the lighting, so some of them are blurry, but oh well!
This guy was a living statue. Aislynn was terrified of him, people were getting their pictures taken and she did not want to see him up close at all! She kept waving and blowing him kisses though, then we would wiggle his fingers at her to let her know he saw:) I have this picture from almost exactly 2 years ago, and it is hard to tell, but Aislynn was crying here too! Poor sugar! After the shops, we drove out to Henderson where we used to live and took Aislynn to the shopping center we used to love, and they now have a carousel there. The next day we went out to Shaun's Grandma's house and she was watching Shaun's cousin, who is a month older than Aislynn. She and Shaun's Aunt and Uncle had come to our hotel room a few nights before and Krista and Aislynn had SOOOO much fun together. They were so cute together!
Little models....
Cute girls! Aislynn and Grandma... I love this picture b/c Aislynn seemed to want to hold Baba, or "Baby Sister" which she calls him now, the whole time we were gone. She holds his hand too, it is so cute. She has had him (I don't know why he is a he??) since she was about 8 months old. Waiting to go on the carousel again...We had to get some Lucille's BBQ again! We miss that place so much, that was sometimes a 3 times a week place for us when we lived out there! This is one of the reasons I LOVED Henderson. It is above the Valley, so you have these wonderful views of the strip, and I love the mountains in the background. I took this picture on the top of the parking garage at the shopping center we were at. I set it on the ledge so there would be no blur, and I had the big mama lens on. We were staying in the far left building-THEhotel at Mandalay Bay. Well, I am exhausted because out flight left at 6 a.m., so we were up at 3-yikes! Aislynn was pretty good on the plane, much better then our flights to Chicago and back.
Hope everyone is doing well. I have some news to share so check back later this week!!!

WOW, Pam - that panorama of the strip should be on a postcard! And so many other great shots... you go, girl! Love the one of A with her Baba, very cool perspective on that. And the three of you together is fantastic - you all look so happy! Oh, I want to go play on the big FAO Schwartz keyboard!!!
